Everything metal and everything soft is in the box; the wood is yours. The brackets come out of a single mold with no welded corner to open up, the four hangers each hold a sealed bearing, and the two seats are moulded EVA on sixty-six inch zinc plated chain. Lay the timber out flat before you start boring holes.

One-piece cast brackets

No joints, no soldered corners, no seam waiting to split. The sleeves slide over the beam and the splayed legs, so your bolts go straight through dressed lumber instead of into an awkward angle.

Bearings inside the hangers

The hangers are cast aluminum with a sealed bearing pressed into each loop. That is what keeps the swing quiet after a winter outdoors, and it is the part a bent eye bolt cannot do at any price.

Seats and chain supplied

Two EVA seats arrive with sixty-six inch zinc plated chains already fitted, thirty inches of each chain sleeved in thermoplastic where hands land. Locking hooks close the top end onto the hanger.

Choose the lumber carefully

Pick straight, dry timber in the size the sleeves expect and slide it in rather than hammering it home. A bracket forced onto an oversized post is the one failure people report, and it is avoidable with a tape measure.

What you still buy

Five pieces of lumber and a socket set. Measure the yard before you cut the legs, because the height of the beam decides how long a chain can hang under it.
