How it reaches you

The short version: we do not handle the parcel, and we will not pretend otherwise.

Who sends the box

Our retail partner does. When you press the button on an item here, you land on that item on their site, and the order, the payment and the carrier are theirs from that point on. We have no basket, no checkout and no despatch bench for consumer orders.

Where the delivery date comes from

From the listing you are looking at, at the moment you look at it. It changes with stock, with your address and with the delivery option you pick, which is why there is no table of dates on this page. Any date we printed here would be a guess dressed up as a promise.

What that means in practice

• Delivery cost, options and dates are shown at checkout on the listing, not here.
• Tracking, if there is any, arrives from the partner and not from us.
• A carton that turns up damaged is reported through the order, which is the only record of what was sent.
• If a parcel goes missing, the partner can look it up. We cannot.

What we can still help with

Everything before the order. Which hanger fits the beam, whether the lag screws in the carton are long enough for what you are drilling into, what is in the box and what is not. Write to us at the shop address and ask before you buy, not after the van has been.
