The workshop reads mail at [email protected]. One person answers it between other work, so a day or two is normal and a weekend is longer.

Where the bench sits

That is a rented workshop bay, not a shop. There is no counter in it, nothing on a rail to try on, and nobody standing by to hand a carton over. Letters get to us there, and so does anything that has to be on paper.

Please do not send goods to it. Anything going back belongs with our retail partner, who took the order and holds the record of it. A carton posted to the bench sits in a corner while the days you had to claim run out.

What we can answer

• Which hanger suits the beam you are describing, and what it needs to sit on.
• Bolt length, hole spacing, and whether a lag will do where a through bolt would be better.
• What is in a carton and what is not, before you order rather than after.
• Insole sizing, and how much to cut off the toe.
• Anything in the bench notes that reads as unclear. Tell us which note and which line.

What we cannot answer

Order status, payment questions, delivery dates and returns all live with our retail partner, because that is who took the order. We have no window into it. If you write to us about a parcel we will only be able to point you back at the listing, which wastes your day and ours.

We also will not tell you that a particular beam is safe. We have not seen it. The notes explain what to look at; the judgement stays with the person holding the drill.
