You supply the lumber from the yard down the road, cut square and dry. We cast the brackets in aluminum without welded joints, coat them in blue, and include four hangers with the bolts and washers for both ends. Slide the top timber into place before you set the legs.
Casting without weld joints
We cast each bracket as a single piece of aluminum alloy rather than welding cut plates together. The metal wraps around the beam sleeve and the leg sockets with thickened rings around the precast bolt holes.
Four hangers included
The kit includes four aluminum swing hangers with sealed bearings for two seats. Mounting them along the top beam takes an electric drill and the bolts from the box, with enough hardware to set both ends.
Drill before you tighten
Slide your wood through the sleeves while the beam rests on horses. Pilot every hole through the metal openings before turning the bolts down with a hand wrench, so the wood does not bind in the socket.
Blue protective finish
The smooth blue coating seals the metal against rain and dirt across the seasons. Washers sit flat against the painted faces without chipping the outer layer when you seat the bolts into the frame.
