We cast these from an aluminum alloy that stays bare of red rust. The underside gets hardened against wet weather, which helps when dew collects under the header beam season after season.
Sealed rotation inside
Squeaks come from dry metal rubbing metal. We press a bearing into the hinge point instead, so the swing turns smoothly without needing grease pushed into the housing every spring.
