Four hangers sit in this box, which covers a beam planned for two swings. We cast each body in aluminum alloy, finish the metal in black, and press a sealed bearing into the center so the swing moves without squeaking. The underside gets a hardened treatment to help against damp weather under the header.
Matching four pack
Two swings take four hanging points across the top beam. Opening one box gives you the full count for that setup, so you are not left short on hardware halfway across the lumber.
Sealed plain bearing
The pivot turns on an enclosed bearing inside the casting. Metal does not grind against metal on the downswing, which keeps the movement quiet and stops the hanger from binding up through seasons of rain.
Hardware in the box
Each hanger includes lag screws, washers, an oval hook, and a drilling template sticker for the underside of the beam. Stick the template in place, run your pilot holes, and drive the fasteners home.
Hardened bottom face
The bottom of the hanger faces moisture drifting up from the grass. We treat that lower surface with an extra hardening process so rain and grit do not pit the raw alloy while it hangs out all year.
