Cold mornings show you when the fleece inside an old boot has packed down flat. We shape these from sheepskin with the wool left thick and dyed black. Slide them straight into your boots or slippers to bring back warmth without changing the shape of the footbed.
We leave the wool long so it cushions the foot and traps air. It wicks dampness away on long days on your feet, keeping leather boots dry inside through the damp months.
The fleece and backing take dark dye clean through. Black sheepskin hides gray dust from the yard and matches dark boot linings without showing grime along the edges after months of wear.
We cut each pair to match the size on the label. Pull the worn liner out of your boot before dropping these in, so your toes have the room they started with.
When dirt works into the fleece, wash the pair in cold water by hand and hang them by the heel to dry. Heat from a dryer will shrink the skin, so let air do it.
